HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALEXIS DEAR....

Happy Birthday to my sweet niece Alexis. She turns 10 today! HOLY COW - where did the time go? I am lucky enough to have 2 nieces (both 10 years old now) and 6 nephews so having the 2 girls is so much fun! I don't have any pictures on my new computer of Alexis but look below she is in the surfing and she is beautiful!

So last night my mom, dad, Johns and I went to see "Wicked." I loved it! The part of Glinda is SO funny! It reminded me a lot of Suzzanne (love ya sis)! It lasted almost 3 hours but the time went by so fast. If you don't know the story it is about the good witch and the wicked witch in "The Wizard of Oz" and it gives you a whole new story about the movie before Dorothy and her dog DODO (yes I know it is Toto) landed in Oz and when the witches were friends. If you ever get a chance to see it I would highly recommend it.

P.S.

I hope NO ONE gets this nasty cold that my mom and I have had for the last week. We have both been so sick! Last night I did find a "night cap" that helped = 2 antibiotic, 2 Mucinex, 4 Advil and 2 TBL of NyQuil all at the same time ;o)....I felt NOTHING until about an hour ago! Good luck to all.

Let me explain....

So, it is a very known fact that I love DISNEY and anything associated with it. When we got back from Disney World in September Johns said that we "needed to take a break from Disney.." blah blah blah....Well a few weeks ago we were at my parents and my dad started to talk to Jenn and her family about going to Disneyland. My mom needed to get out of the house after being cooped up for months now and Jenn's kids have never been. So, the reason we are going again is because we are going with my family this time. Maybe next year we can take a break and go to a DUKE game....Now that would make him happy!
